Introducing our newest Coach and Director of Tours and Camps, Coach Wil Bowden.

Coach Wil brings a wealth of experience and passion to our club; over the last few years he has coached multiple Junior Representative sides and currently is the Head Coach for the Newcastle Falcons Youth League Men. 

Not only an association coach but a NSW State Performance Coach who led the 2024 NSW Country U14 Boys Kookaburras to an Undefeated Championship run at the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup in Albury. 

Coach Wil is passionate about mentoring junior athletes and helping them develop their skills to the next level.

In charge of our Tours and Camps Coach will oversee “Unleashing” The Iron Tigers on the Basketball World!!!  Exposing our athletes not only to the rep like experiences of tournament play but an insight into being a high-performance athlete on the road.

First on the Agenda Coach Wil is taking us to a beachside tournament on the Mid North Coast. Port Macquarie’s Junior Seaside Classic on the 1st and 2nd of November 2025. 

The Iron Tigers will be taking two U15 Boys teams and a single U17 Boys team to compete against a range of competition.
