As we head into Term 1, Iron Tigers Basketball has a busy and exciting February coming up. Below is a full overview of what’s happening, what’s open for registration, and where limited team spots are still available.

3×3 Hustle – Niagara Park
Monday 19 January
We’re entering teams in the 3×3 Hustle at Niagara Park. This is a fast-paced format that gives players plenty of touches, decision-making opportunities, and a chance to compete in a different style of basketball.

Meet & Greet Camp – New Players and Coaches
Thursday 22 January
PCYC Bateau Bay
This free session is for new Iron Tigers players and coaches joining us this season. It’s a relaxed opportunity to meet teammates, meet coaches, and get familiar with the club before training begins.

Training Resumes – 2 February
All Term 1 team training resumes from 2 February.
Please note that training fees are not included in competition fees for Terrigal-based teams. All players attending training must be registered for the term.

Unleashed Tour – Coffs Harbour
13–15 February
Our first Iron Tigers Unleashed tour of the year heads to Coffs Harbour. This is a great opportunity for players looking to challenge themselves, travel with teammates, and play strong competition in a tournament environment.
A small number of spots remain for Under 16 and Under 18 boys.

New Programs Launching in Term 1
Tiger Cubs – Skills and Play
Starting Sunday 2 February, 9:00am
PCYC Bateau Bay
Tiger Cubs is a beginner-friendly program designed for younger athletes. Sessions focus on movement, coordination, basic basketball skills, and most importantly, having fun in a positive environment.

Home School Hoopers
Starting Monday 2 February, 11:00am
PCYC Bateau Bay
This program is designed specifically for home-schooled athletes. It combines skill development, gameplay, and social connection in a daytime session.

Coaching Traineeship Program
We’re also launching a coaching traineeship for those interested in starting or progressing their coaching journey. The program includes hands-on experience, mentoring, and exposure to real coaching environments within Iron Tigers.
