Iron Tigers Basketball Club – Volunteer Agreement
Thank you for volunteering with Iron Tigers! We’re grateful to have your support — whether it’s helping as a team manager, assisting with events, or supporting our coaches behind the scenes.
This agreement helps make sure we’re all on the same page.
Your Role
- Your role is completely voluntary and unpaid.
- You’ll follow the guidance of the club’s leadership and be a positive representative of Iron Tigers when helping out.
- You agree to be reliable and communicate if you’re ever unavailable.
Child Safety
- If your volunteer role involves direct work with children (e.g. coaching or supporting players on court), you’ll need to hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- If you're helping in a support role like team manager or admin, a WWCC may not be required.
- You also agree to follow the club’s Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.
Respect & Privacy
- You’ll treat players, families, and coaches with respect at all times.
- You’ll keep private any confidential information you may come across while helping.
Insurance & Safety
- You’re covered under the club’s volunteer insurance while performing your role.
- Please act safely and let us know straight away if anything goes wrong.
Wrap-Up
- Either of us can end this arrangement at any time — no pressure.
- We appreciate your support and contribution to a great club experience for our players.
