This Week at Iron Tigers- Results, Awards, New Coaches, Tours, and More
Week 3 brought a mix of close contests, strong wins, and valuable learning moments across all age groups. Training sessions are in full swing, new coaches are settling in, and preparations are ramping up for our upcoming tours and rep trial programs.
With the Girls-Only Tour EOI now open, more sponsorship support on board, and summer competition planning underway, there’s plenty to look forward to as we head into the back half of the term.
Here’s everything you need to know this week.
On the Court – This Week’s Results
It was a challenging week across the board, with plenty of close contests but only a handful of teams coming away with wins.
Victories were recorded by 14 Orange, 10 Black, 14 Black, 12 Black, and 12 Black PCYC, showing strong teamwork and execution. Several other games were decided by narrow margins, including 16 LHRC who fell just short in a two-point loss to the unbeaten league-leaders.
While the scoreboard didn’t reflect the effort for many teams this week, the determination and improvement is evident. With consistent training and focus, we know these performances will start turning into results.

Team of the Month – 12F Orange
Congratulations to 12F Orange and Coach Felicity.
After a huge month of improvement, 12F Orange turned previous losses into a draw and a win, showing what hard work and belief can achieve.
They’ve won a 1-hour team shooting session with the Dr Dish Shooting Machine courtesy of CC Hoops.
We can’t wait to see them put it to good use. Well done Coach & Team.
