Iron Tigers Weekly
– Term 4, Week 8

We are heading into the final stretch of the basketball year with plenty happening on and off the court. Here is everything you need to know for this week.

Christmas Hoops Fest – Thursday 11 December
Next Thursday 11 December is our final training session of 2025, and we are finishing the year with our Christmas Hoops Fest at Niagara Park Stadium.

It will be a club-wide session with games, challenges and a fun wrap-up to celebrate a big year for Iron Tigers.

This also marks the beginning of our on-court break from 11 December through to early February. Training resumes in Week 1 of Term 1, 2026. More details will follow.

Game Day RSVPs
A quick note about game day RSVPs. Some teams have been turning up unsure of who is actually playing, which puts coaches and managers under pressure and risks a last-minute forfeit.

In Team App, the availability section is very simple. It is just Yes or No. Tapping one of those options each week is all that is needed. It lets coaches set line-ups properly and ensures we have enough players to take the court.

If an RSVP is not submitted and we end up short, the team may be forced to forfeit. Central Coast Basketball issues a fine for last-minute forfeits, and that fine is passed on to the team involved. We really want to avoid that.

If you are unsure where to find the RSVP button in the app, your team manager can show you, or feel free to ask. Thanks for taking a few seconds each week to update it. It genuinely helps everyone.

Term 1 Training – Early Bird Offer
Term 1 team training registrations will open shortly.
For a limited time, we will offer an early-bird training fee of $295 for the term, before it returns to the standard $320.

If you know your child will be training with Iron Tigers in Term 1, it is worth locking it in during the early-bird window to save on fees.
