Season Membership Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Iron Tigers Season Membership programs and payment plans.
By registering for a Season Membership, the parent/guardian and participant acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Membership Overview
A Season Membership is a fixed-term basketball development program that may include:
competition participation
weekly team training
game day coaching and support
structured player development throughout the season
Specific inclusions may vary by program or location and will be outlined on the relevant registration page.
2. Membership Commitment
Season Memberships are fixed-term commitments for the duration of the applicable competition cycle.
By selecting a Season Membership Plan with weekly instalments, families commit to completing all scheduled payments across the season period.
Memberships are not casual, month-to-month or pay-as-you-go arrangements.
3. Payment Options
Where offered, families may choose either:
an upfront full season payment, or
a weekly Season Membership Plan
Payment options and pricing are outlined on the applicable registration page.
4. Weekly Membership Instalments
For Season Membership Plans:
an upfront commitment payment is required at registration
recurring weekly instalments will then be processed automatically using the nominated payment method
It is the account holder’s responsibility to:
ensure sufficient funds are available
maintain valid payment details
update expired or replaced cards promptly
5. Failed Payments & Retry Fees
If a scheduled instalment payment fails:
the payment processor may automatically retry the transaction
a failed payment/retry administration fee of $5 may be applied per failed transaction
Iron Tigers Basketball Club reserves the right to suspend participation where accounts remain overdue.
6. Overdue Accounts
If a membership account falls behind:
reminders may be issued
training and/or game participation may be suspended until the account is brought up to date
Iron Tigers Basketball Club reserves the right to withhold:
participation
future registrations
uniforms or merchandise collection
until outstanding balances are resolved.
7. Injury & Medical Pauses
Season Memberships may only be paused for:
injury
medical circumstances preventing participation
Pause requests:
must be submitted in writing
may require supporting medical documentation
are assessed at the discretion of Iron Tigers Basketball Club
Approved pauses:
temporarily suspend future instalments
do not refund payments already processed
Where appropriate, paused weeks may be added to the end of the membership period.
8. Withdrawal & Cancellation
Season Memberships are fixed-term commitments and cannot be cancelled due to:
change of mind
non-attendance
holidays
schedule conflicts
participation in other sports or activities
Where a participant withdraws after team registrations or competition entries have been submitted, families may remain responsible for outstanding membership obligations reflecting costs already committed by the club.
Any approved cancellation requests remain at the sole discretion of Iron Tigers Basketball Club.
9. Training Participation
Training is considered a core component of the Season Membership program.
Membership pricing is based on overall program availability and delivery, not individual attendance frequency.
Missed training sessions do not result in refunds, credits or reduced membership obligations.
10. Competition & Schedule Changes
Iron Tigers Basketball Club reserves the right to:
adjust training times or venues
combine training groups where required
modify schedules due to venue, competition or operational requirements
Reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible.
11. Behaviour & Club Expectations
All participants and families are expected to:
follow club policies and codes of conduct
treat coaches, officials, players and venue staff respectfully
contribute positively to the team environment
Serious behavioural breaches may result in suspension or removal from the program without refund.
12. Membership Completion
Season Membership Plans conclude automatically at the completion of the applicable competition cycle unless renewed for a future season.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By registering and/or commencing payments, the participant and parent/guardian acknowledge that they:
have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
accept the financial commitment associated with the selected membership option
agree to comply with all club policies and procedures
